Looking After Our Community

Welcome to our community policies page!

Here at The Recovery Group, we believe in fostering a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment for everyone. We commit to uphold a solid code of conduct and ensure all members understand and follow our welfare and safeguarding procedures and policies.
Feel free to view our policy documents, which promote respect, accountability, and well-being within our community. Together, we can create a positive atmosphere where everyone feels valued and secure.

Code of Conduct

The success of The Recovery Group depends on the active participation of all our members. A small team of volunteers and leaders run and manage the group. We kindly ask that all members support the team and to get involved when possible.

The Code of Conduct is mainly ‘common sense’, but we encourage all members and participants to read it and adopt these principles.

Welfare & Safeguarding Policy

The Recovery Group ensures that all members can participate in activities and events in an enjoyable and safe environment. All children and adults at risk are entitled to a duty of care and protection from abuse.

The Welfare and Safeguarding Policy outlines the group’s approach, responsibilities, policy, and procedures for safeguarding children and adults at risk.
