The Life Rooms - Walton, Evered Avenue, Walton L9 2AF
The Life Rooms in Liverpool is a recovery college and mental health service provided by Mersey Care NHS Foundation Trust. It offers a supportive environment for individuals experiencing mental health difficulties, providing a range of courses, workshops, and activities aimed at promoting recovery and well-being.
The Life Rooms focus on empowering individuals through education, social inclusion, and community engagement, offering a variety of resources and support to help people live fulfilling lives despite their mental health challenges.
If you have a housing issue, a question about your employment, want advice on your lifestyle, or tips on how to exercise: whatever it is, they can help you take your next steps towards a healthier and happier life.
Courses and support services for adults are delivered in Walton, South Liverpool, Southport, and Bootle. You can access:

Learning: a wide range of courses for positive mental and physical health as well as cultural and creative opportunities

Social prescribing: practical one-to-one support in areas like employment, housing and debt

Inclusion: safe and welcoming environments.
Once you walk through their door or speak to a member of their team, you will be able to access even wider resources, including meeting spaces for community groups, family friendly areas, and computer suites. You can also access library facilities at the Walton and Southport sites, and a café at Walton site.

Liverpool Lighthouse - St Domingo Vale, Oakfield Road, Anfield, L4 0UF
Based in a refurbished former Gaumont cinema in high-deprivation North Liverpool, they are a registered charity working with the local community to create thriving communities of people living more fulfilled lives.

As an Arts and Community centre, they use engagement with the arts to improve people's wellbeing, so they can go on to develop the skills they need to meet their aspirations.
Their projects provide the local community and vulnerable groups with opportunities to develop skills, create and experience arts and culture and to connect with others, integrated with practical support for people in crisis or who need a helping hand.
